Wide Format Support
Shotcut support not only the latest wide range of audio format but also has a wide range of video format such as BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, SVG, TGA, TIFF, WebP as well as an image sequence. It doesn’t require any import; just you need a native timeline editing. Its webcam and audio capture support up to 4k resolution with network stream playbacks such as HTTP, HLS, RTMP, MMS, and UDP.
With streamlined tone mapping HDR to SDR, it also exports single frame as image or video as an image sequence and EDL (CMX3600 Edit Decision List).
Audio Features
Shotcut provides not only a wide audio scope including loudness, peak meter, waveform, and spectrum analyzer, but also has wide audio filters such as Balance, Bass & Treble, Band Pass, Compressor, Copy Channel, Delay, Downmix, Expander, Gain, High Pass, Invert, Limiter, Low Pass, Noise Gate, Normalize One Pass & Normalize Two Pass, Notch, Pan, Pitch, Reverb and Swap Channels. Shotcut has a powerful feature of easy-to-use fader controls with fade-in & out the audio and from and to black fade video. Its cross-face audio & video dissolve transitions easily by overlapping shots on the same track of the timeline.
Cross-platform & Codec Independent
Shotcut supports all types of desktop devices such as Windows, macOS, and even Linux. It Codec independent does not rely on system codecs and allows it to run as a portable app from an external drive. Display and monitoring

It allows you to deinterlace the video by converting interlaced video into a non-interlaced or progressive form. fine-speedy effect for audio and video clips, if you have chosen a suitable motion from the control panel such as slow-motion, default, and faster motion. Just like the Audio effect, the video effect also has a powerful feature of easy-to-use fader controls with fade-in & out the audio and from and to black fade video on the timeline. With a 360-degree video filter, you can perform equirectangular mask 360 to rectilinear 360, hemispherical to equirectangular, and more.
