How can I setup my Coursera account?

  1. Go to coursera.org.
  2. At the top of the page, click Sign up.
  3. Choose whether you want to provide a name, email, and password or link your Coursera account to your Facebook profile, Google account or Apple ID. 
How can I change my Coursera email settings?
  1. Open your Coursera Settings page.
  2. On the left side of the screen, click Email Preferences.
  3. Use the checkboxes to choose what kinds of emails you'd like to get from Coursera.
  4. Click Save.
How can I enroll in a course on Coursera?
  1. Open the course information page by clicking on the course title.
  2. Click Enroll.
  3. Choose an option.
  4. Read all instructions and follow any prompts you receive.
How can I apply for financial aid or scholarship on Coursera?
  1. Using a computer, open the course home page for the course you want to apply for Financial Aid in.
  2. Next to the information about Financial Aid or Scholarships, click Learn more and apply.
  3. Fill out and submit your application. Make sure your application is over 150 words. Applications below this minimum will not be accepted.
  4. Wait for your application to be reviewed. While you wait for your application to be reviewed, you can begin the course immediately in audit mode or free mode. The review process may take up to 15 days.
  5. When your application is reviewed, you'll get an email letting you know whether it's been approved or denied. You can also check your Updates page to see the status of your Financial Aid application.
How can I download lectures in Coursera?
On computer:
  1. Open the video you want to download.
  2. Under the video, find the "Downloads" section.
  3. Click Lecture video.
  4. Once the video is downloaded to your computer, you can open it using the video player program on your computer. 

On mobile:
  1. In the Coursera App, open the course you want to download videos for.
  2. From the course outline, open the week with the videos you want to download.
  3. In the iOS app: tap the download icon at the top of the screen and choose Download Videos.
  4. In the Android app: tap Save for Offline.
How can I edit and resubmit a peer reviewed assignment in Coursera?
  1. Open the course you want to resubmit an assignment in.
  2. Click the Grades tab.
  3. Open the assignment you want to resubmit.
  4. Click Edit submission at the bottom of the submission page.
  5. If you have already gotten feedback, you'll need to confirm your choice to edit your project. Editing the assignment will delete any reviews you've already gotten.
  6. Make your changes, then click Preview to see the changes.
  7. Click Submit for review to resubmit your edited project.
  8. You can confirm that your updated assignment has been resubmitted by going to the GRADES page where the assignment will be marked as "Submitted."
How can I verify my ID on Coursera?

  1. Log in to your Coursera account.
  2. Click the drop-down menu next to your name in the top-right, then click Settings.
  3. Scroll to the ID Verification section. If you aren’t enrolled in a course that requires ID Verification, you’ll only see the option for Name Verification.
  4. Click Verify My ID and follow the steps that appear.
